Responsibilities

Build and improve APIs and UI experiences.
Design, code, test, debug and document new and existing components to ensure they meet business, quality and operational requirements.
Develop high quality code by implementing unit and integration testing.
Create RESTful APIs using Microservices architecture with Java.
Craft UI using ReactJS.
Engage in code reviews to uphold the highest standards.
Troubleshoot code level issues promptly and effectively.
Demonstrate strong technical problem solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
Participate in a rotation for handling escalated incidents after hours or on weekends to maintain 24/7 platform availability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
More than 5 years of professional experience in developing scalable, distributed applications.
Proficiency in object oriented programming with languages like Java 8 and ReactJS.
Extensive experience with the Spring Boot framework.
Familiarity with containerization technology such as Docker.
Solid background in building cloud based API platforms or backend systems.
Essential skills in Kotlin, Java 8, Spring Boot (especially Kotlin with real world experience).
Experience with Splunk and Dynatrace is required.
Nice to have: Strong experience with Amazon Web Services, front-end experience and ReactJS proficiency.
